RollCakeSpa.js is a progressive, incrementally-adoptable JavaScript framework for building micro-frontends UI on the web.
- Dependency-free: RollCakeSpa wrap micro frontends without any extra library dependencies or configuration in their files to be used.
- Shared Runtime: RollCakeSpa provide a loading page option that is responsable for override temporarily pages that are fechting micro frontends, allowing it to show their content only when they are fully loaded and running at same time as a single product, keeping the UX intact.
- Shared Context: RollCakeSpa provide a shared global object of context with all their micro-frontends, keeping a "single source of truth" concept for all of them.
Our team developed a Spotify Clone that was built with RollCakeSpa, using micro-frontends from Vue.js, React.js, Angular 9 and Svelte 3. If you got any curiosity about how was made, please check our repository link.
We provided a boiler template with webpack, webpack-dev-server and babel already configured in our rollcake-spa-template repository. Please, starting using it for new projects.
