This is an enhanced version of the original Joymap software that cfoote7 made for his PiSwitch project, differently from his version, this one can be installed as a standalone software and has been updated to work with RetroPie 4.8, I hope to implement Bookworm support as soon as it releases.

How does it work?

You connect the Joy Cons to your Raspberry Pi via Bluetooth and the input gets translated to key presses, which is very fast and practical for use in EmulationStation and RetroArch.
When you boot your Pi, a connection screen will show up asking you to connect your Joy Cons, they will connect automatically when you wake them and a green checkmark will appear when the connection succeededs. If you don’t wan't this extra UI, try the no-ui branch.
Currently there is an issue mapping N64 contoller axis, but it will be fixed by the next release.
