Template for Bioinformatics submissions.

  • Like pnas_article, tables are broken because pandoc uses longtable, which can't use 2-column formats currently.
  • The test is currently broken, but I am stumped as to why. The skeleton.Rmd file knits cleanly. Happy to fix if there is something obviously wrong.

 - initial skeleton.Rmd
 - updates to template.tex
 - committing original main.tex for comparison / debugging
Merge branch 'master' of github.com:jayhesselberth/rticles

# Conflicts:
#	inst/rmarkdown/templates/bioinformatics_article/resources/.gitignore
#	inst/rmarkdown/templates/bioinformatics_article/resources/template.tex
 - added test
 - add notes about longtable and hyperref
 - small tweak to address layout
 - add new template to README

Could you remove the standard LaTeX packages in this PR? Users should install these packages by themselves. It is not a good idea for an R package to provide so many LaTeX packages.

It will be even nicer if you could rebase your branch against the current master branch and resolve the conflicts. Thanks!
