There aren't a lot of pages (yet), but should we structure them in a more typical blog structure similar to this

• /blog
• /blog/YYYY
• /blog/YYYY/title-of-the-thing

so we can grow into a more active blog without an excessive amount of files in one directory, and risk breaking canonical links in the future

yeah, it might be good to do it as part of the migration, at least help with the folding thing?

I think doing it now is preferable; so we avoid google potentially picking it up and having to deal with redirects or temporary duplicate content - but I defer to your preference - depends on how fast the follow-up is
