I think this change has caused issues with generating the PDF for this document. There is a long standing issue about this, which I can't find right now due to being on my phone, and I also can't remember the correct step for creating the PDFs. |

Ah, yes, LaTeX tends to barf on higher Unicode codepoints. I'm not sure how to fix it from Markdown. |

Right now, the LaTeXism
$\bot$shows up literally in the manual. This PR replaces the LaTeX with the unicode bottom symbol.
