I started updating rand_jitter towards the ideas of the current SHA-3 based implementation of jitterentropy.

Currently this is early work in a very rough draft. Before I continue, is there any interest in this update?

We've essentially deprecated JitterRng since we couldn't satisfy security concerns (rust-random/rand#699), it's horribly slow, and almost every platform has a better option anyway.

If you want to take over maintainership of this (under a new repo) I'd be fine with that.

Ok, then I'll close this for now. I may get back to you, when I think I can devote enough time in the future to maintain this in another repo on my own.
