We are creating a UK TRE working group for SATRE: uk-tre/community-management#119
As part of this we should create a new public JISC mailing list. This will provide an additional place for discussions alongside GitHub.
Possible names:

• satre@jiscmail.ac.uk
• uk-tre-satre@jiscmail.ac.uk

List permissions: Restricted discussion list (public archives, restricted subscription, visible on JiscMail's A-Z catalogue)
For comparison the UK TRE community list is: Public discussion list (public archives, open subscription, visible on JiscMail's A-Z catalogue)

Good idea. My preference would be for uk-tre-satre@jisc as that gives more context.

Do we need to decide who the primary list owner is? Can it be a generic mailing list (i.e. HIC)?

I've requested uk-tre-satre@, with myself and Chris Cole as list owners. Once the list is created we can add more list owners or moderators.
