IMDbPy Automation for top_movies.csv

This code demonstrates how to use IMDbPy to get more information about the movies in the top_movies.csv file, which contains the movieId, rating, count, imdbId, and tmdbId of the movies that have more than 100 ratings and a rating higher than 3.9 on the MovieLens dataset.

Requirements

To run this code, you need to have the following:

  • Python 3.6 or higher
  • IMDbPy 2021.4.18 or higher
  • pandas 1.3.3 or higher

You also need to have the top_movies.csv file in the same folder as the code.

How to run

To run this code, follow these steps:

  1. Download or clone this repository to your local machine.
  2. Open a terminal or command prompt and navigate to the folder where the code is located.
  3. Install the required packages using pip install -r requirements.txt
  4. Run the code using python imdbpy_automation.py
  5. Wait for the code to finish and check the results in the top_movies.csv file.
