Copy to clipboard causes fatal error

Wincompose 0.9.4, Win10 x64 1809.
Right click on any item in Sequences window => Copy to clipboard => got an fatal error:

Running as administrator make no difference.

Thanks for the report. I have found numerous strategies to avoid the crash and provide relevant information to the user, but I’m curious as to why this could happen. Do you use software that could hijack the clipboard contents? Maybe a clipboard management utility, or remote desktop software, VNC, or even a virtual machine…

This issue is reproduced on my working laptop with a lot of installed software.
I tried to reproduce that on a freshly installed operating system on a second laptop, and did not get any errors.
I'll try to find a conflicting program.

Found it!
It turned out to be SynWrite.
Development looks quite abandoned, but I left the issue and got a working solution (complete turning off clipboard hook).
