Installing with Docker

If you have docker installed, you can run river4 with the following commands:

# build the docker image
docker build -t river4 .

# make the folder to hold river4data
mkdir -pv $HOME/river4data/lists

# copy an opml subscription list
cp $HOME/opml/feeds.opml $HOME/river4data/lists

# start the app
docker run -it -v "$HOME/river4Data":/var/river4 -P --rm --name river4 river4
