Contribute to zUMIs!

We love to hear from our users and aim to support you and address issues in zUMIs in a timely manner.

However, since we (@sdparekh & @cziegenhain) have moved on from our PhD lab in 2018, developing zUMIs further is something we (mostly) do in our free time. Because of that, we are also very happy for input or contributions from our users!

If you would like to contribute to zUMIs, feel free to submit a pull request or write us an email!

For pull requests, we ask to include some details in the pull request message :

• description of the changes (eg. certain bug fix or added feature)
• did you test the new code? which dataset / datatype was it tested with?

For more complex changes to the code, one of us will usually do another round of testing before merging the pull request.
