FOSDEM 2020 has, once again, a security devroom, this time on the topic of "Practical use of security technologies".
The security devroom will be held on Saturday 1st of February 2020 in Brussels, Belgium at ULB.
This covers security protocols and their usability, the usability of the open source crypto libraries and applications from both developer and user side, pitfails of using crypto, security threats, vulnerabilities and their mitigations in real-world use cases. We welcome presentations which elaborate on these topics, and presentations that analyze other's solutions.
Submissions require a small abstract and a short speaker description and must be submitted via the Pentabarf system no later than 1st of December 2019. Suggested duration for a timeslot to apply for is 25 minutes (20 min presentation + 5 mins questions). The schedule shall be finalized by 15 December 2019.
