UC Merced Registration Eye

This program helps UC Merced students be alerted whenever a seat in a class they're watching opens up. This works by periodically scanning the section based on a specified CRN and then playing an alert sound when an open seat is detected.

Dependencies

This program requires an installation of Python 3.8 and VLC as well as the following non-standard Python libraries:

• beautifulsoup4
• python-vlc
• requests

Setup

Install the required dependencies listed above and then run UCM-RegE.py.
