The Ear Training Plugin for Obsidian was designed to help me improve on my musical ear.
Being a user of obsidian for a bit I decided to implement my solution to help me improve, which seems to start working for me.
Whether you're a musician, composer, or music enthusiast, this plugin offers a fun and educational way to develop your ability to recognize intervals, chords.
- Interval Training: Practice recognizing intervals by ear.
- Chord Training: Explore and identify common chords by ear.
- Listen Training Select a key set and chords you wish to train to identify.
- Customizable Settings: Actually in development to ease use.
- Feedback: Small feedback at the end of a training with all failed interval/chords.
- Saving Results Possibility to save results in md files. Not very custumazable for now.
- Open the Ear Training plugin from the command palette or the ribbon icon.
- Customize your training session settings.
- Start a new practice session and enjoy the interactive exercises.
- Receive feedback and track your progress over time.
Configure the plugin settings to tailor your training experience:
- Selected Intervals: Choose the intervals you want to include in your exercises.
- Practice Mode: Select the training mode, such as melodic, harmonic, or a combination.
- Number of Exercises: Set the desired number of exercises for each session.

Practice Modal:
- Numpad or Digit Numb: Select answers.
- / Numpad Key: Select previous answer.
- * Numpad Key: Select next answer.
- Backspace or + NumPad key : Replay the song.
- Enter or Space: Validate.

Result Modal:
- Arrow Up and Down: Select the raw up and down.
- + Numpad Key: Go down in the raw.
- - Key: Go up in the raw.
- Numpad or Digit:
- 1: Play the first note played.
- 2: Play the selection the user did.
- 3: Play the correct answer.
