Players start with 100 tokens, which can be purchased using Ethereum. The game offers two betting options: heads or tails, with a wager of 10 tokens per bet. Upon flipping the coin, if the player wins, their bet is doubled; if they lose, the bet amount is forfeited. Smart contracts ensure secure and transparent transactions throughout the gameplay.
- You must install Metamask in your browser in order to play the game and connect it with your wallet. Currently we are testing in Sepolia ethereum test network so be sure to select it when setup Metamask.
- Click "Connect to Wallet" in the UI to access the - game panel.
- Transfer 100 tokens (default purchase value) from the MetaMask wallet by clicking "Get Coins."
- Choose a bet option: heads or tails.
- The game automatically fetches 10 tokens for each bet.
- Click "Flip Coin" to initiate the coin flip.
- If the bet is won, the tokens are doubled.
- If the bet is lost, the bet tokens are forfeited.
- Repeat the process to continue playing the game.
This coin flip Ethereum web app operates on the Sepolia Ethereum testnet. To acquire ETH for transactions, users can visit the Ethereum Sepolia Faucet, where they receive 0.5 ETH daily for testing purposes. This setup allows users to participate in the game without using real funds, ensuring a secure environment for testing and development.
