Describe the bug

The VPN-client cannot be stopped when the VPN connection is broken. When the remote closes the underlying used transport, the VPN does not try to re-establish the connection and also cannot be stopped anymore. The command does not time out. It just hangs.

This issue can be reproduced both by closing the remote VPN server or by removing the transport used.

Environment information:

  • OS: MacOS
