This respository contains the content for the "Introduction to Python for Engineers and Manufacturers" chapter event as produced by SME Chapter 112. This event is designed to demonstrate the benefits of using a programming lanugage (in this case, Python) to solve domain-specific problems in physical engineering disciplines.
All Python code in this repository uses Python 3.
Issues and pull requests are welcome - even if you are not an SME member. If you would like to suggest additional user cases which may apply to the mechanical, manufacturing and industrial engineering fields, please file an issue.
The SME is an international organization which seeks to develop engineering and manufacturing talent, promote advanced manufacturing technology and, ultimately, build a more prosperous tomorrow for the manufacturing community.
SME Chapter 112 serves engineering and manufacturing professionals within Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland.
