You must authenticate against GitHub so that the package can be downloaded, as this is located in the GitHub Package Registry and can only be downloaded with authentication, thats why it says Username must not be null!

Hi, the repo itself is not private but public: https://github.com/sovity/edc-ce (was renamed from edc-extensions to edc-ce a while ago but GitHub does the forwarding for you to the new URL). Heres also the public artifacts published by that public repo: https://github.com/sovity/edc-ce/packages/1855598

The thing that you still need to authenticate is a limitation by GitHub for their hosted Maven Packages: https://docs.github.com/en/packages/working-with-a-github-packages-registry/working-with-the-apache-maven-registry#authenticating-to-github-packages

I had the same problem and this discussion helped me, thank you. Had to set GPR_USER and GPR_KEY and extend the scope of my personal access token.
