Become a sponsor to Henrik Feldt
My name is Henrik and I've been writing software for the world to use since 2004. I love getting in the flow while writing software that is fun for my fellow engineers to use.
My ultimate goal is spending my time improving the world with software, continuously applying what I learn to improve it and make it more fun (smooth!) to use! I love the feeling of reading about or talking with happy users of my projects!
Strong testing methods for everyone!
I maintain Expecto, a F# .Net [ unit/stress/property ] testing library. If I had more time with it (through sponsorships) I could afford to start implementing all the wonderful papers I read about coverage/static code analysis-guided fuzzing, and create more integrations with load- and stress-testing frameworks.
Open source / inexpensive, self-hosted analytics/metrics/logging/tracing
Secondly, I maintain and improve Logary, a JavaScript, F# and C# [ metrics | tracing | logging ] [ library | ingestion | analytics | log-router ] that expose a unified surface area for all of the above for the cloud-native software stack. All of the Logary suite is free to use; but the .Net client library, which costs a few dollars; if and only if you're running a for-profit company and for the nodes running in production.
If I had sponsorship for Logary I would be able to move much faster — that would mean drastically improving the docs and making realtime business analytics and metrics/tracing much more approachable to developers in all different sorts of languages.
So far, I've had implementations in Swift, Kotlin, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, F#, C++ and Go use the API's that Logary expose, and it would be great to provide open source clients or configs for all those languages to log/trace/do metrics with.
Your contribution matters
Even though I feel passionate about the above projects, they are all maintained on my spare time. I would love to work more focused on open source. If you appreciate what I'm doing; even if you can only contribute a small amount, it would make a world of difference to me❣️
