How about we think of a way to generate the README.md automatically from the website (source code)? Because it's already out of sync since this readme says v1.7.0 is the latest Open Source release supporting Spring Boot 2.x and 1.x, whereas the one on the website says it's v1.8.0. Hence, the changes in this PR won't be reflected there. |

I removed a link that was not working. Also, to maintain consistency with the existing content, I made some formatting adjustments.
