This repository holds aerial images of telecommunication towers in two testbeds (South Florida, and Florida Panhandle) in Florida, USA. All images were collected from Google Earth. This work is part of the PRAISys project (http://www.praisys.org/).
The South Florida testbed is an urban region, spanning 5,189 square miles (i.e., 13,439 square kilometers), with a population of 6.17 million as of 2010. It consists of three counties: Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade.
The Florida Panhandle testbed is a relatively rural area, with a population of 1.02 million. With a total area of 11,342 square miles (i.e., 29,421 square kilometers), this testbed consists of 16 counties: Bay, Calhoun, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Okaloosa, Taylor, Wakulla, Walton, and Washington.
