Is this the new Hello World or Doom or something?

  • PICO-8 - the original, runs on PocketCHIP if they ever ship it
  • LIKO-12 - open source, on Android too
  • TIC-80 - open source, anything with C SDL Lua
  • BOX-256 - this makes a fun game out of it, pretty cool
  • Nano89 - early dev / unfinished?

Commercial Larger Games

  • TIS-100 - "the assembly language programming game you didn't ask for"
  • Shenzhen I/O - "build circuits, write code, RTFM"
