When converting a generic object to golang code, an
interface{}
should be used, as this represents any type. This should be used even when a pointer is needed for nullability, as aninterface{}
may be null. Furthermore, in golang an*interface{}
is a concrete type, which is the opposite of what you are looking for when using a generic object.
