Actually, I think the initial version is right (humane means something like "human friendly" or "easy to understand/read for humans").

Leaving it alone does seem reasonable; however, I am wondering if it would be easier to just say "human friendly" vs "humane". Also after looking at yaml.org, the definition you provided for "humane" seems to fit.

I agree that human friendly is maybe better to use.
