Would be great if the popover opened in a portal. Something that has scrolling enabled but also easy to style like a Dialog. I know Dialog is a no go #850. I'm trying to build a search component that stretches the width of my screen container while keeping scroll enabled but it's not possible to do easily with any of the modal components.
Key benefits:
Much more flexible for styling
Would differentiate it a bit more clearly between Dialog and Menu components
