Keywords

It's intended that keywords will be associated with each of the use cases outlined in this wiki. Recommendation to use Tracking Tags NERC code category: http://vocab.nerc.ac.uk/collection/L05/current/TRTG/

Sampling methods

If there is a link to an online publication describing the methods used in this study (preferrably a DOI):

  • Include the DOI in samplingDescription in the metadata
  • Populate samplingProtocol in the Darwin Core data with the DOI

Note: DOI should be of format https://doi.org/10.1007/s10336-012-0908-1

If such an online publication does not (yet) exist:

  • Describe the sampling methods in the free text fields in the metadata (studyExtent, samplingDescription, qualityControl, methodStep)
  • Do not populate samplingProtocol in the Darwin Core data
