Let's put this PR on hold (marked as [WIP] in PR name) and try to include MongoDB 4.4 in the upgrade. It seems that one unit test case is failing, but maybe is not real but needs to be analyzed. |

We are going to "migrate" this PR to #3132 in the context of driver and OS migration works. The test that was previously failing probably is now disabled in that brach, so we will move finally to MongoDB 4.4. The test will be investigated once re-enabled (issue #3775). |

Many deployments show that Orion works fine with 4.2 so we are going to upgrade the recommendation.
