PSD/XCF templates

When submitting a sticker design to a printer, they usually provide a template so you can fit your sticker art/logo/design on it.

See @stickermule's templates as an example. Maybe they could contribute theirs?

I actually have e-mailed them about it. They suggested putting together a template with cut lines.

Is there work being done on this? I'm about to put together another sticker order and would love to be an implementor of the spec

I'm working on one with the designer for the new SushiJS logo.

My first thought was an SVG template (which could be exported to the other types). It would be good to add to the list.

Pinged the designer again. Considering writing a program that programmatically generates the template though. (I've done similar for cards games.)

Is this moving anywhere? I could potentially get a designer at the office to quickly whip this up... is anyone able to share a psd of a currently existing sticker design?

No. Templates in an open format and tools for people to generate a template, still do not exist. Probably for the better, because of changes to resolve #13.

What format do you have in mind? and are their any requirements in mind for the tooling?

SVG templates were merged as part of 8cd21bc 🎉 , which I think is good enough to close this.
