Note that the local data dir, i.e. /tmp/kestrel must be empty, or only contain valid Kestrel data. To put a fine point on it, you can not simply specify your /tmp/ dir since all the junk in it will confuse Kestrel and cause it to die.

Also, you might want to expose the admin port (2223) for checking status:
