Can we get hot reloading to work for mdx files?

next-remote-watch does not seem to be working that well when I am updating an mdx file - most of the time I still need to refresh manually. Anyone else facing similar issues?

I am considering alternative approaches including polling and refresh or using chokidar to watch for changes.
