Primary goal is to provide a self-installing package complete with its own python installation/virtual environment.
It would be great if this were in the form of an exe.

Also desirable is to have the project installation ie as a python package into an existing environment (eg via setup.py). Indeed this might be the easiest way to achieve the above.
