Problem

In order to mitigate a bug in Mariadb 10.6.12 asap without waiting on julien-duponchelle/python-mysql-replication#399, we created this PR to customize the BinlogStreamReader.

Now that julien-duponchelle/python-mysql-replication#399 is merged and released as part of python-mysql-replication v0.40, we can revert that change and bump the version.

Proposed changes

Bump the python-mysql-replication to 0.40 and delete the custom BinlogStreamReader.
