Subject

I have successfully used an older version of Lpub3D in the past. The application would normally crash on large builds only when prompted (clicking a second time once the application is trying to load the original command, then crash) a second time.
Since then I have changed 2 computers (Windows) and now when I downloaded the most recent version of Lpub3D, it doesn't load the older larger builds. I even rebuilt the larger build step-by-step from scratch all over and still Lpub3D will not open the file. I even broke up the build to smaller sections and still doesn't load it.
Can anyone please help with this or is there a link with instructions on how to correct this?

I also noticed that once the settings and preferences are used/changed on a build, and saved on older versions of Lpub3D, this would also cause Lpub3D to crash with an Abort window.

Is there a solution to this problem or a step-by-step guide for troubleshooting? Please, anybody, Help.

Thanks.

Did you use substituted parts?

Forget the last question.
Which renderer do you used in the older versions?
Maybe the LDView Render with special options in the file.
for example: 0 !LPUB ASSEM LDVIEW_PARMS GLOBAL......

Hi
At the third picture above, the "Native" renderer is set.
If you use special options for LDView in the file, this is maybe the problem.
In the files you attached, there are no settings or parameters.
Only in the file "BH3.." the file header is not correct.
So no parts are shown in LPub3D.
LDCad open the file correct, because LDCad ignore the wrong header.
In the file 770... are two parts used, that are not in the library. (10h.dat)

Hello Johann/Trevor, My win64 version of Lpub3D does not open the BH3 file like you did in the image attached. Could it be because of previous version installations?? Like you told me yesterday, the BH3 file comes up as 1 page, without the build image showing. What steps can I make to correct this? Please advise. Thanks. Oved

As I wrote above, the header must be corrected.
Open the file with LDCad, open the menu session, then "Edit Header",
Fill in the autor and license.
Save the file.
Now you can open the file with LPub3D.
