It looks like they are moving to their own platform:

They will be billing per transaction on what you build, but I believe it
can be very interesting. They will be launching in 2018, but some people
are being offered
access in BETA STAGE

Twilio has long since abandoned any support for OpenVBX after releasing it to the open source community. It has lived on and is widely used but the lack of updates and sparse community involvement has stifled its growth. It would seem that the new Twilio Studio (in Beta) and offerings like Amazon's Connect, which are PaaS/SaaS, cloud based systems, are the future. I think there's still a place for self hosted apps like OpenVBX but it doesn't appear to be the direction that most services are going. |

I am rebuilding Openvbx system using latest twilio libraries ,APis and also latest Codeignite verison . we are planning to add mms ,fax some more functinality in new version . Interested people contact me on -: chetan@xsquaretec.com . |

Very unfortunate and frustrating - Twilio is pricing themselves out of business. We used to use OpenVBX for several clients, they loved it, but we've had to move to Amazon Connect due to the strange Twilio pricing tiers. |

nb chetantrivedi7 abandoned or not this project is licensed under https://github.com/twilio/OpenVBX/blob/master/LICENSE which is the mozilla public license which has redistribution obligations to downstream you signed on when you chose to use/or modify the code
please note the Mozilla Public license MAY obligate you legally to redistribute ANY modifications you make to the sources and force you to provide them to anyone downstream using those modifications |
