No, no explanation necessary, it's just our policy, there are extensions/filterlists on GitHub that do it and they are not getting take down by DMCA. Not everything has to be explained to the public. Just for your curiosity - #2317 (comment), don't open a PR about it. |

This is an updated version of #25625 to not recommend any specific browser extension and to mention an actual DMCA takedown notice regarding addressing paywalls.
