Describe the bug

this version somehow rename user agent to "chromite" this cause a lot of sites either complaining or just refuse to work because it fail to detect actual chrome version.

here the user agent is now
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Cromite/128.0.0.0 Safari/537.36

for now I guess I have to use some add on to change it, but hopefully you just fix it in the next release,

Steps to reproduce the bug

just open whatsapp, it just refuse to works. open google docs, it complain about "not supported browser"

Expected behavior

right user agent.

I will check how brave works even with the modified user agent.

I actually made a mistake.
brave does not change the user agent but only the client hint.

Besides breaking many websites this change makes users very unique and better trackable.

For those who don't want to wait for the next update:
Go to Settings->User Agent and select custom with

Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 10; K) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/128.0.0.0 Mobile Safari/537.36

Don't forget to change this back to default setting once the update is available!

Just scroll down when you're in Settings.
It's in the main menu.

Facebook also fails to work with "Desktop site" enabled:
