The latest release - v1.7.0 - does not support our new WCOSS2 machine. Create a new release:

  • Update the VERSION file.
  • Use the tag name ufs_utils_1_8_0
  • After updating the VERSION file, rebuild the documentation and update the gh-pages branch.
  • Update the bullet list of items in the release notes, with links to the issues closed.
  • After doing the release, create draft release notes (via cut and paste) for the next release.
