🏗 Installation

1. Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/your-username/patent-similarity-search-app.git
cd patent-similarity-search-app

2. Install dependencies:

pip install -r requirements.txt

🚀 Usage

1. Run the app:

streamlit run app.py

2. Enter Patent Data:

   • Enter patent details in the text area on the main page.

3. Configure Settings in Sidebar:

   • Specify the number of search terms to generate.
   • Input your OpenAI model name.
   • Enter your OpenAI API key and SerpAPI key.

4. Find Similar Patents:

   • Hit the "Find Similar Patents" button and watch the magic unfold.
   • View generated search terms, discovered patents, and similarity scores.

⚙️ Configuration

• OpenAI Model Name: Default is "gpt-4-0125-preview". Feel free to experiment with the latest models—each one has its own unique personality that can spice up your searches.
• Number of Search Terms: The default is 10. More terms mean more potential matches.
• API Keys: Don't forget to replace 'YOUR_OPENAI_API_KEY' and 'YOUR_SERPAPI' with your actual keys in the sidebar.
