- Migrate from setup.cfg to pyproject.toml for project metadata.
- Reorganize and polish source code.
- Convert tests to automated unit tests.
- Add code maintenance infrastructure.
- Add GitHub Actions for continuous integration.
- Update organization of codebase to be more consistent with current Python packaging conventions.
- Update method for converting unsigned ints to signed ints.
- Fix flake8 errors.
