This is a v2.2rc1 ticket.

The Markdown/Shortcodes toggle button fulfills a different purpose than the other buttons, currently: one is a configuration toggle control, the others are syntax modification controls.

There should be a visual cue to separate both purposes. This is normally done by adding a separator line in between buttons, and/or padded with negative space.

Sure, adding a separator is easy enough.
