ℹ️ Heads up: Second Screen WG/CG 2023 Q1 virtual meeting is now confirmed. Please check your inbox for invites. You can also import the invites into your calendar following the 🗓 Meeting invite links below.

To all Second Screen WG/CG participants:

  • If you plan to attend and the proposed times (see Logistics) do not work for you please get in touch with the chairs as soon as possible. You can help by giving a 👍 reaction to signal the proposed times work for you.
  • All participants are welcome to suggest and refine the agenda topics, either via direct edits, GH comments or email to the chairs.
  • Also, if you're interested in a particular agenda topic or have a proposal please let us know so we can accommodate you better.

Multi-Screen Window Placement API

Remote Playback API v1

Status: Pending interoperability report completion.

Presentation API v1

Status: Scope is stable, pending OSP implementation feedback and stabilization.

Matter/Connectivity Standards Alliance coordination

Status: Matter 1.0 specifications are public. This allows the WG to advance with its concrete coordination efforts in scope of the Second Screen Working Group Charter.

  • Continue technical evaluation of the Matter standard to identify areas that have potential to enable interoperability between Matter and applicable parts of OSP.
  • Discuss initial findings on synergistic technical areas: e.g. authentication, transports, data models for streaming and media/application control.
