Configuring a domain

Since you have a new shiny PEPS server, you want to have it running properly on your domain. There are a few steps.

Renting a domain

The first step, if not already done, is naturally to rent a domain name through a registrar. Note that if you configured PEPS with another domain, you can't migrate your server and will have to deploy a new instance if you change domains. This will be added soon!

Buying SSL certificates

You also need to buy SSL certificates if you have them. You will need them both for:

  • the HTTPS main interface
  • the SMTP serve

Ensure proper configuration

  • domain set properly in PEPS
  • server.key and server.crt set up properly in PEPS
