The URL no longer has the version number in it. See

Not quite right - gives the first version from the cache file instead of the correct version for the particular app.

Alas you still need to compare with my PR - the version installed by the deb is 1.2-0 , which is "less than" the announced version and causes endless bogus "updates", hence the sed fix.
Without something like that you end up with

  [+] tonelib-noisereducer (1.2-0) has an update pending. 1.2.0 is available.
