How to setup browser proxy to work with this tool

Assume that:

  • you use chrome
  • use this plugin switchOmega to do proxy
  • start youku-broker on port 5000

Following these steps: NOTE!! please check the following screenshots carefully.

  1. create a switch profile, say "youku-no-ads"

  2. create a proxy profile, say "fake-youku" image

  3. setup proxy "fake-youku", let the requests go to this proxy http://127.0.0.1:5000 image

  4. setup proxy "youku-no-ads", let the urls match specific pattern to go proxy "fake-youku" image

Now, you could open your browser to visit youku without any advertisement.
