你改了预编译头加了 error ,不是当然会编译不过么,这不是正常现象么。。

参考CMake。
1.生成包含设置的预编译头文件的.h文件

为什么一定要参考 cmake 去生成?只要能实现预编译的目的不就行了,这又不是标准,目前仅仅 msvc 下,才会生成

gcc/clang 下不需要。

2.在.h相同的目录生成.h.gch文件

不考虑,这会污染源码目录,最不推荐的方式。所以的中间文件都应该隔离到 build 目录下。

Why must we refer to cmake to generate? As long as the purpose of precompilation can be achieved, it will be fine. This is not a standard. Currently, it is only generated under msvc.

Not required under gcc/clang.

Regardless, this will pollute the source code directory, which is the least recommended way. Therefore, all intermediate files should be isolated to the build directory.

另外请考虑使用common/stdafx.h和stdafx.h这样的情况
set_pcxxheader(“common/stdafx.h”)应该能使用common/stdafx.h对应的预编译头而不是存在于包含路径中的stdafx.h
这是我发现xmake的gch有问题的起因

set_pcxxheader("common/stdafx.h") should be able to use the precompiled header corresponding to common/stdafx.h instead of stdafx.h that exists in the include path

首先GCC对于使用预编译头和强制包含头文件是一样的语法 大部分情况就算预编译头不生效也时能编译通过的 因此需要有个方法来确定预编译头是否生效

1.可以添加-H来检测预编译头是否被使用 https://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc/Preprocessor-Options.html
Print the name of each header file used, in addition to other normal activities. Each name is indented to show how deep in the ‘#include’ stack it is. Precompiled header files are also printed, even if they are found to be invalid; an invalid precompiled header file is printed with ‘...x’ and a valid one with ‘...!’ .

你这表述的也太琐碎了,抓不到重点,看了半天才看明白咋回事。。。还不如直接说 pch 没生效,然后给个完整复现 demo 不就完事了么。。

这里主要有几个问题导致:

  1. 你 xmake.lua 配置了 -IPCH,正好被 xmake 加到了最前面,干扰了 gch 所在路径的搜索,fix gcc pcheaders #5896 这个 patch 就能修复这个问题
  2. 默认的 ccache 导致 pch 失效,暂时需要 xmake f --ccache=n 或者 set_policy("build.ccache", false) 禁用

这两处理了,pch 就可以生效了。

至于你说的

  1. -include 完整路径,这个不是关键,同样会被 -IPCH 干扰,而且绝对路径这边不考虑
  2. gch 生成到源码 .h 对应目录,这个当然能解决搜索问题,但是会污染源码目录,这边肯定不会考虑的,目前做的所有措施,就是为了中间文件和源码进行隔离。

至于 ccache 那个问题

  1. 首次执行,走了预编译
    • 预处理阶段会忽略 -include 等 flags ,导致不生效,不过即使加上,似乎也不会生效,-H 不会输出任何东西
    • 实际构建时候会去编译 展开后的预编译问题,而不是原始的源码,这个阶段目前看也没生效
  2. 二次编译直接走了 obj 对象文件 copy,也就不会走到 pch 的处理

There are several main problems here:

  1. Your xmake.lua is configured with -IPCH, which happens to be added to the front by xmake, interfering with the search for the path where gch is located. The patch fix gcc pcheaders #5896 can fix this. question
  2. The default ccache causes pch to fail. It needs to be disabled temporarily by xmake f --ccache=n or set_policy("build.ccache", false)

After these two steps are taken care of, pch can take effect.

As for what you said

  1. -include full path, this is not critical, it will also be interfered by -IPCH, and the absolute path is not considered here
  2. Gch generates the source code .h corresponding directory. This can certainly solve the search problem, but it will pollute the source code directory, which will definitely not be considered here. All measures currently taken are to isolate intermediate files and source code.

As for the ccache issue

  1. First execution, pre-compilation is performed
    • The preprocessing phase will ignore flags such as -include, which will not take effect. However, even if it is added, it does not seem to take effect. -H will not output anything.
    • During the actual build, the expanded pre-compilation issue will be compiled instead of the original source code. It does not appear to be effective at this stage at this stage.
  2. The second compilation directly copies the obj object file, and does not go to pch processing.

#5896 will cause compilation errors. The command line called is the same as the 1.2 I added the second time.

之前被我改成了 #include "PCH/pch.h" ,改回去后,是有这个问题,但按理 gcc 应该能找到才对,search dir 已经靠前了,既然 pch.hxx 可以,按理 pch.h 应该也可以。。gcc的行为很怪。

其实 gcc 已经找到 pch.h.gch 了。。看来改了 .gch 做隔离,还是得塞个 pch.h 到 gch 对应目录下才行。。否则行为不可靠,蛋疼。还是 clang 靠谱。

Is there no #include "pch.h" in your main.cpp?

I changed it to #include "PCH/pch.h" before. After changing it back, I still have this problem, but it stands to reason that gcc should be able to find it. The search dir is already at the front. Since pch.hxx can be found, it stands to reason. pch.h should also work. . gcc behaves strangely.

再试下上面的 patch,gcc 下 ccache 也支持了,加了个 -fpch-preprocess flag, https://musescore.org/en/node/182331

而 clang 下,本身就通过 -include-pch 在预处理阶段展开了,所以原本就是支持 ccache 的,但是在开启 ccache 下,每个预处理文件,都提前全部展开了,相比 no ccache + pch 反而会慢不少,这个暂时不管了,等后面有更好的方案再优化
