Welcome to the xmppconsole wiki! Here you will find recipes of using xmppconsole tool.
XMPP Console is a tool for XMPP hackers which simplifies debugging of XMPP entities and learning the protocol. It provides multiple ways to connect to a server and allows to type XMPP stanzas manually. The tool comes with both text and graphical interfaces, therefore, it is suitable for desktops and servers and even embedded devices.
XMPP Console provides a wide range of configuration. For example, user can connect anonymously or allow insecure legacy authentication, trust invalid TLS certificate or disable TLS at all, connect to a server which doesn't support STARTTLS, authenticate manually or register a new user.
