v0.10.1 Revert functionality that causes excessive notifications

Revert gmazzo#8 because it was causing excessive notifications to Xola devs. This may cause this bug to re-appear bug but that's an acceptable loss for now.

v0.10 Fix notification for new Go Versions + Update default notification channel

• Fix notification for newer Go version
• Default notification channel changed from #general to #dev-standup for Xola's Slack (can't do private channels)
• Update README
