Welcome to the Wiki for X-ray Larch! These pages will outline and discuss development plans for Larch. This will include the work outlined in the NSF Proposal 1450468 Integration of Synchrotron X-Ray Analysis Software Methods into the Larch Framework (see NSF1450468), but also include discussion of developments not outlind in that proposal.
Other areas for discussion and development include over the next years should also include some Project Design issues:
- Keep wx GUI toolkit or move to Qt?
- The use of Larch (and plugins) from pure Python needs to be improved.
- Better distribution mechanisms and/or automated/continuous deployment tools.
There are also numerous functionality/feature ideas.
