Taranis/QX7 Setup

Assuming that you have OpenTX 2.2.4, or later, firmware with both lua and luac support loaded on your transmitter, simply copy the contents of the Taranis or QX7 SD card files onto your transmitter's SD card.

TARANIS CLASS Transmitters use TARANIS SD contents

  • X9D
  • X9E

QX7 CLASS Transmitters use QX7 SD contents

  • QX7
  • Taranis X9 Lite
  • Taranis X-lite
  • Jumper T12

This can be done by removing the card and copying the files externally on a PC or by connecting to the PC in boot mode (both rudder and aileron trim tabs squeezed toward center of radio, while powering up) and transferring them to the SD card following the same directory structure.
