GUI not getting Device Code #183

Just coming in as a blank. working yesterday. clicking login without a code generates a Windows error

Tidal-dl doesn't seem to work as well

[ERR] Device authorization failed. Please try again.
and
[ERR] countryCode parameter missing [https://tidal.com/browse/album/40466939]

I wonder if setting access token manually would help. Has anybody tried out? But usually it was only required if someone couldn't download master files in 24 bit.
Maybe setting API key might be worth also trying out.

Tidal-dl is not working at all, program crashes on loading. Was working fine yesterday and now it's completely not functional.

I don't know if it helps at all but I got an email from Plex saying they lost the connection to my Tidal account and I had to relink it, I guess there was some sort of change...

Use TidalDL console, set API Token to FireTV (option 1), update TidalDL settings to audioquality.master as the only working API Key for now will only allow master downloads. Wait for an updated GUI, @yaronzz will surely provide it sooner or later, and dont forget, he's not a bot...

Maybe it belongs to another topic, but I just can't manage to start TidalDL console (tidal-dl.exe file). Got Windows7 64bit, and it's missing api-ms-win-crt-core-l1-1-0.dll.
Before that I got same error message but for api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll - but it doesn't occur anymore.
I tried a few methods I found on the web, but still no success. Thanks for any advice.

What methods did you try? Isn't that error connected to "Microsoft Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable"?

Yes, probably, thanks. I've reinstalled Visual C++, but it didn't help. Also downloaded the DLLs, but I couldn't replace the files in system32 folder, tried to change owner on files, as administrator, booted Win7 in safe mode, still no luck. But it's not so urgent, I mean I hope yaronzz would soon fix the problem in a new gui version.

they changed the api keys again...
I think this key should work (EDIT: just realized this is the master-only key)

Otherwise we need to re-implument auth and use android's keys

"Can't get the streamUrl, type is application/dash+xml" and it won't download. Any advice? Thank you in advance.

this api key can only download master quality songs

Yes but you have to build the GUI yourself using Visual Studio (or maybe someone else can do that for us?). Alternatively you can install the python version from my fork but even that is a bit tricky..
All that until @yaronzz updates the app with the new api key

Doublenegative is also not downloading anything right now for me.
